Privacy policy
This page explains what personal data SalonVQ Bookings collects when you book an appointment or log in, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your name, email address, and phone number (phone is optional)
- Details of the appointment(s) you book, including service, date and time
- For services that require one, your patch test date and time
- For colour services, your date of birth — used only to confirm you meet the 16+ age requirement
Why we collect it
To manage your appointment, contact you about it (confirmations, changes), and — for colour services — to meet our safeguarding duty to confirm a patch test has been carried out before your appointment.
Who else sees it
Confirmation and login emails are sent via Resend, our email delivery provider, acting on our behalf. They only process what's needed to send that email and don't use it for any other purpose. We don't sell or share your details with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Client and booking records are kept for 24 months after your most recent appointment, then automatically deleted.
Cookies
We use two cookies, both strictly necessary for the site to work: one to keep you logged in if you view "My bookings", and one for staff logging in to manage appointments. Neither is used for tracking or advertising, and we don't use any analytics or marketing cookies.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at any time — contact the college directly and we'll action this. You can also cancel any upcoming booking yourself from the My Bookings page.
